Doyle demonstrated both hyper femininity and female abjection with the intimate making of a herbarium, whereby a collection of plants and flowers are collected, composed, pressed and archived. She exaggerated the innately feminine quality of the craft with a performance, using her own bodily fluids to stick and press the flowers into a book to create a series of delicate and equally abject studies.
