Barb is an installation reflecting on Doyle’s own experience of once upon a time, substituting the life of a stranger. Themes of temporary identities, memory, Scribbly Gum Trees, women fraudsters and Saint Barbara come to play in this visual riddle, or fairytale, or mythical re-storytelling.
